Interfaith marriages: celebrating the differences for the sake of love

Love is an emotion that does not see the person’s religion, race, ethnicity, sect, and caste. It is a pure and transparent feeling that a person develops for the other person regardless of their differences. Regardless of their origin, race, culture, and ethnicity, they live together and make an exemplary model of love and commitment. The courage and love of these couples need appreciation; they are breaking the stereotypes and setting new trends which will benefit the whole world as it helps in promoting a pluralist approach in societies.

There is also someone else who has set a great example by promoting interfaith marriages; he is none other than Dr. Mike Ghouse. Dr. Ghouse is an interfaith marriage officiant, he runs an organization named Interfaith Marriages and Center for Pluralism. Dr. Ghouse believes that it is the creator who instills love between two individuals. If He does not consider differences, then we should also facilitate the process of marriage for them. Thus, he has taken up the responsibility and officiated more than 200 weddings of people from different religious and national identities.

Interfaith marriages are an exquisite form of pluralism; these marriages open the gates of happiness, love, and acceptance for both families and give an exemplary model to the lovers and peace advocates of the world. These couples are positioning new standards and trends to live a peaceful life with tolerance, love, and eternal commitment.
